I struggled to definitively name this track for the longest time, "canvas" came to me very suddenly one night and I thought it fit well — the choice of that name also led me to actually paint (well, digitally) cover art for it, which I rarely do.
The first name I had for it, and what I named the project file, was "aquapuncture", because it sounded kinda cool. I wasn't aware until later that "aquapuncture" was an actual thing, and it didn't necessarily fit the song, so began the search for a new name. "altotude" was a consideration at one point.
